Crimean Prosecutor Natalya Poklonskaya stated this in Simferopol at a meeting of the board on the implementation of land and urban planning legislation on the territory of the peninsula.
“Certain positive trends are evidenced by the fact that since March 18 last year, not a single new large-scale unauthorized seizure of land has occurred on the peninsula,” the press service of the region’s supervisory agency quotes the prosecutor.
According to the prosecutor of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during the period of the transitional provisions of the legislation, the illegal allocation of 190 hectares was prevented. After the prosecutor's intervention, local authorities dismantled almost 300 non-permanent facilities.
In addition, thanks to the measures taken by the supervisory agency, damage or complete destruction of more than 100 cultural heritage sites was prevented.
