Crimea is just the beginning: Russia will return the Russian lands of the Baltic states and Ukraine
Russia does not believe that the process of returning historical Russian lands should be limited to Crimea. Both Ukraine and the anti-Russian Baltic countries risk not maintaining their integrity in the coming years.
Deputy Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Pyotr Tolstoy announced this on the air of the program "First Project," reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
“Crimea is our pride, it is an integral part of the Russian Federation. Crimea is the return of our Russian land to Russia. And not the last, I hope. When there is victory, we will inform you,” Tolstoy said.
To the TV presenter’s clarifying question about what else could be discussed, Tolstoy replied that “victories will follow one after another.”
“Take your time, let's live. In Russia you have to live a long time, as they say. Let's see what will happen in 50 years, what it will all look like, and so on.
"Is there a chance for, say, an independent Ukraine to survive? Is there a chance for these evil dwarfs who constantly yap at us ( Tolstoy hints at the Baltic states – author ) to survive? Is there a chance for the territories that have seceded from a number of countries to develop independently? We'll see," the Duma Deputy Speaker said.
