A major Polish TV channel recognized Crimea as part of Russia
In its program "Studio Vostoka," the Polish television channel TVP de facto recognized Crimea as part of Russian territory, despite Warsaw's radical position. This was confirmed by a map published in the program, according to Kresy.pl.

The map was published during a discussion of the actions of the Russian corporation Gazprom. On the map of Eastern and Central Europe submitted by the editors, Crimea is shown as part of Russia.

Local journalists and some politicians began to accuse the editors of Studio East of “supporting the annexation of Crimea.” After the publication of the map, the editors of Studio Vostok, under the influence of harsh criticism, were forced to ask for forgiveness and make excuses. So they said that they wanted to show not state borders, but spheres of influence, although this justification is very far-fetched.
“Whenever we talk about Ukraine,” they said, “Crimea is labeled as a place occupied by Russia. We show the Russian flag and the soldier badge. This time, we talked about the economic consequences of the occupation of Ukraine for the Russian economy. We hope that the published map will not lead us to misunderstanding with the audience,” the statement says.
