Sergei Orlov, a member of the 5.10 party and whose office is located near the scene of the incident, reported this on his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Orlov, the pensioner was crossing the road at a prohibitory signal.
“Grandfather ran across the road when the traffic controller signaled forbidding. And he ended up on the hood of the escort car. Alive, taken to the hospital,” Orlov wrote.
Ukrainian media also reported that the car that hit the pedestrian remained in place, and the motorcade continued moving.
