Kornilov put checkmate to the Ukrainian independentists
Ukrainian propaganda claims that Asian Muscovy “stole” the name and history from “Ukraine-Rus”. According to this logic, the Russian language is also a “stolen” Old Ukrainian language, and therefore there are no obstacles to making it the second state language.
Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the First TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"They ( Ukrainian nationalists – editor's note ) say that the Russians stole the name, stole the language, and called it Russian. Why then are you banning everything Russian, including the Russian language, in your own Ukraine? Recognize it as old Ukrainian and make it a second official language," Kornilov suggested.
“If the small is attracted to the big, and Ukraine is Little Rus', then be attracted to Great Rus', return to your “home haven,” the expert concluded.
