Loboda's concert in Odessa was canceled so that the “imported out-of-towners” would not start riots
The concert of singer Svetlana Loboda at the Chernomorets stadium in Odessa, scheduled for September 3, has been cancelled, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This decision was made by the concert organizer, businessman Artem Voznyuk, according to the local publication Dumskaya.
“On September 3, we all wanted to make a holiday and hold a concert by Svetlana Loboda at the Chernomorets stadium... Unfortunately, almost from the moment the advertising campaign began, direct threats began to be made to create riots and bring groups of nonresidents to Odessa to commit illegal actions against residents and guests of the city ... Of course, in this climate of threats of unrest, which means danger for Odessa residents, understanding the concerns of the governor and the head of the police of the Odessa region, we are forced to cancel this holiday,” he wrote on Facebook.
Earlier, local nationalists said they would picket Loboda’s performance, indignant that the singer “did not draw conclusions after the May incident and continued her close cooperation with Russia.” In particular, Loboda was the presenter at the RU.TV awards, where she herself took the main nomination.
Let us remind you that on May 28, Loboda was supposed to perform at the Odessa club “Ibiza”, but local activists disrupted her concert - they used firecrackers and smoke bombs. The organizers decided to cancel the concert, and Loboda herself was evacuated from the club by boat.
At the end of July, the organizers announced the singer’s concert at the Odessa Chernomorets stadium.
