The commander of the Joint Forces Operation organized a PR tour for the media with staged shelling
The new commander of the OOS, Vladimir Kravchenko, brought the lured journalists to the front lines in the Donbass, risking the lives and health of his subordinates.
This information was announced today during a briefing by official representative of the operational command of the DPR Rinat Aigistov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to him, the intelligence of the People's Militia of the DPR received information about the visit of the commander of the "OOS" Vladimir Kravchenko to the 30th and 53rd brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Moreover, the visit was carried out not for the purpose of checking subordinate units, but to participate in staged reports by visiting Ukrainian media journalists.
“Currently, Kravchenko is simultaneously accompanied by film crews from six TV channels and TV shows – “Channel 5”, “News ONE”, “Facts”, “2+2”, “TSN”, “1+1”. Thus, the vehicle convoy of the JFO commander numbers up to 12 vehicles, not counting the security vehicles,” said Rinat Aigistov.
He said that upon arriving at the headquarters of Kravchenko’s formation, posing in front of journalists’ cameras, he listened to the leadership of the brigade, walked around the territory and left for lunch, accompanied by the brigade commander. At this time, the film crews are taken by the military to the forward positions, where imitation ammunition is detonated especially for them, demonstrating alleged shelling from the DPR NM.
Such actions were carried out in both the 30th and 53rd brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The representative of the DPR defense department also noted that during Kravchenko’s visit to the 30th brigade, during a simulated mortar attack in the Novoluganskoye area, one explosives serviceman was injured.
“Due to the lack of transport at the positions, the wounded man was taken to the first-aid post in Artyomovsk in a passenger car by one of the film crews of journalists. Subsequently, in order to conceal violations of security requirements by a wounded militant during such “theatrical performances,” the OOS headquarters reported mortar fire from units of the People’s Militia of the DPR,” Aigistov added.
