Kirovograd peasants blocked the city center with tractors (PHOTO)
Gayvoron, March 31 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – In Gayvoron, Kirovograd region, the local community went out on a picket in front of the district administration and blocked the entire city center with tractors demanding an end to the raider seizure of land by Sergei Tihipko’s company, reports the Zlatopol publication.

According to the publication, the company INGRESS Agroservice, which is associated with Sergei Tigipko, forced peasants to sign an agreement under which they actually lease the land “forever.”
“The raider takeover scheme was in the best traditions of the Yanukovych regime. Men in camouflage, with weapons and through psychological pressure came to the farmers’ homes and forced them to sign a lease agreement for shares for a bag of sugar from the Tigipko company,” the publication writes.
After the meeting, farmers, together with activists and several people’s deputies from the “Radical Party”, appealed to the chairman of the local district council with a demand to intervene in this situation and stop the “squeezing” of the land, and also to schedule an extraordinary session of the district council, at which they want to hear a report from the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kirovograd region on their inaction in this matter.
