Kyiv radicals turned on the back foot in another confrontation with the Orthodox
Right-wing radicals held a protest at the Tithe Monastery in Kiev, which was recently burned down and which Orthodox Christians rose up to defend.
This is stated on the C14 group’s Facebook page.

“Tradition and Order” together with C14 held a rally near the FSB MAF near the Tithe Church. We were reminded of the participation of Russian special services in the occupation of Ukraine. “Crimea is ours! Hell is yours!” the radicals wrote.

In turn, the Kyiv online newspaper “Strana” clarifies that the nationalists began asking the priest who came out whether he knew about the “anniversary of the occupation of Crimea.”
“Having heard in response that the priest considered Crimea to be Ukrainian, they began to accuse his “colleagues,” in particular the vicar of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl, of not considering Crimea to be Ukrainian.
When asked about the purpose of their coming, they said that the monastery was built without documents, and when they heard that there were documents, they began to claim that they had recently been obtained through corruption.
In the end, seeing that parishioners were beginning to gather at the monastery and complaining about the cold, the right-wing radicals retreated,” the publication writes.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Kyiv experts acknowledged that in the post-Maidan years, only the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was capable of mobilizing and bringing thousands of people onto the streets to participate in protests to defend their rights.
