A Kiev woman tried to troll her sisters with a portrait of Zhukov
Sisters Maria and Galina, who have been participating in the Victory Day march in Kyiv for many years and whom some media outlets call "Zhukov's sisters," took part in the "Nobody Forgotten, Nothing Forgotten" march, which was previously called the "Immortal Regiment," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
As before, the sisters carried a portrait of Marshal Georgy Zhukov through the streets of Kyiv. This time they walked in front of the main column and attracted the attention of journalists and passers-by.
Some woman began asking the sisters why they called Georgy Zhukov the Victorious, and then began to wonder how much they were paid.
At first the sisters did not understand the question, then one of them said: “They don’t pay anything.”
“And what do you mean, this is free?” – the woman asked.
The second of the sisters got angry and crossed her with the words “In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.” “Grandma, you are so affectionate!” the woman replied, after which she began to wonder “who won the victory,” but the sisters realized that they were being trolled and walked away.
The woman also went to her friends and they laughed at the incident together.
In 2017, nationalists tried to take away the portrait of Zhukov from the sisters and throw it into the Eternal Flame, but the old women pulled the portrait out of the fire.
