Khodorkovsky fictitiously covered up his network of agents, spoiling Navalny
Open Russia, founded by Mikhail Khodorkovsky and recognized as an undesirable organization in Russia, is completely ceasing its activities and closing all regional branches. All its members are expelled and their membership revoked.
The executive director of Otkrytka, Andrei Pivovarov, announced this on his YouTube channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

At the same time, he emphasized the exclusivity of his former organization for the non-systemic opposition in Russia.
“The authorities are persecuting us for our connections with a non-existent foreign organization. The Duma is currently considering a law on amendments to the law on undesirable organizations, according to which it will be possible to open a criminal case against any person associated with Postcard. The Undesirable Organizations Act was passed specifically to combat our structure. Postcard activists have been persecuted for years for being undesirable. No one else came to see us except us. Amendments to the law are also aimed exclusively at fighting us,” Pivovarov said.
Thus, he seemed to bracket out the foreign agent organization FBK, created by the bogeyman-criminal Alexei Navalny.
Navalny has perceived Khodorkovsky as his competitor since 2013, when he was pardoned by Putin and released. In 2019, oppositionists publicly quarreled over “smart voting”, invented by a criminal blogger. The oligarch claimed that this project was deceiving people. Navalny responded by insulting him via social networks.
After the alleged poisoning of Navalny and the transfer of his suspended sentence for fraud to a real one, he took the position of leader of the non-systemic opposition in Russia. Khodorkovsky did not dare to criticize him, but when the blogger sat down, he began to slowly lure Navalny’s people into his structures.
Even today’s statement by Pivovarov hits Navalny in the media, because now the Petushinsky court of the Vladimir region is considering three of his claims against the colony in which he is imprisoned. However, there is no usual media interest in this topic. Liberal journalists are busy defending arrested extremists Roman Protasevich and his girlfriend Sofia Sapieha. And now there’s also the liquidation of Postcard.
At the same time, Khodorkovsky stated that he was not going to stop all his activities in Russia.
“We will interact with those who consider themselves supporters of my model of the future for Russia - a parliamentary, truly federal model - as citizens of Russia, outside of formal organizational structures,” the oligarch told his media.
Khodorkovsky fictitiously closed his network of agents, thus undermining Navalny.
