This was reported by the Kiev publication “Strana”, which took Leshchenko’s commentary on his presidential ambitions.
“I am competing with Lutsenko for the right to be Poroshenko’s successor. Only if Lutsenko wants to be a successor along the lines of corrupt clans, then I want to be a successor along the lines of society and democratic values,” the deputy said.
At the same time, Sergei Leshchenko insists that these words should be considered as a serious political statement.

Let us remind you that today Leshchenko, although he remains a member of the BPP faction in the Rada, harshly criticizes Petro Poroshenko from a pro-American position for insufficient fight against corruption and is the de facto leader of the recently created Demallyance party, which united long-term recipients of American and European grants.
