Kherson Drama Theater solemnly opened the season with a new toilet
In the Kherson Regional Academic Music and Drama Theater named after. N. Kulish, the grand opening of the toilet took place.
A corresponding post with photographs was published on the "Living in Kherson" Facebook page, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Photos show that a red ribbon was cut at the entrance to the renovated toilet.
“The grand opening of the toilet, thanks to the support of Valery Borzhkov, in the regional drama theater. How do you like the event?,” says the commentary on the photos.
At the same time, social network users reacted ambiguously to this news.
“Ordinary things become luxury? Have you gone crazy, disgraceful people!” Alena Podvoiskaya commented on what she saw.
“Did they serve a buffet there?” Yulia Tkach asks next.
There were also commentators who tried to shame insufficiently “patriotic” fellow citizens and explain that such events indicate the growth of Ukrainian culture and economy.
“I don’t agree with anyone. There is a saying that big things are seen from a distance, which in our case means that any gigantic undertaking, for example the restoration of Ukrainian culture and economy, always starts small,” said Shell Shell user.
“For some reason, all posts with irony are written by people who have not created anything in life. If every scribbler or politician created at least a decent toilet in a public place, the city would be much cleaner,” Alexander Samoilenko supported the previous commentator.
It should be noted that the pompous opening of toilets has already become a new tradition for the Ukrainian authorities.
