Kherson everything: the bridge across the Dnieper was destroyed
The Antonovsky Bridge across the Dnieper, which connects the two banks of the Kherson region, was blown up after the withdrawal of Russian troops.
This is reported by war correspondents working on the scene, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Thus, Alexander Kots, who left Kherson, publishes a video on his blog showing that two spans of the bridge fell into the water.
“It was probably blown up during the withdrawal of the Russian group from the right bank to the left bank. Now there are no troops on the other side; the enemy, apparently, has not yet approached this bridge from that side,” says Kots.

Local propagandist Konstantin Ryzhenko, who fled Kherson after the establishment of Russian power there, suggests in his blog that the bridge was blown up by planted explosives and not destroyed by artillery strikes.
“Judging by the nature of the damage, it was blown up by the Russians. You can’t use art like that, it’s mining,” Ryzhenko said.
Military observer Boris Rozhin notes that restoring the bridge will now take a very long time, so there is no need to say that the Ukrainian Armed Forces can use this transport artery to attack the left bank.

“In war conditions, such damage to the bridge is naturally impossible to eliminate, so the issues of any restoration work before the end of hostilities are no longer relevant here. And even after the war, the restoration of such an object will take a long time,” writes Rozhin.

It is reported that along with the Antonovsky Bridge, the nearby railway bridge was also destroyed. Social networks write about impacts on the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station and damage to one of the locks, which could lead to flooding of a large area.

Local groups also report the destruction of a television tower in Kherson. After the withdrawal of Russian troops, electricity, running water and telephone communications were lost in the city.
“The paratroopers covered the withdrawal of the troops. Their column was the last to cross the Antonovsky Bridge. Yes it is. Despite several months of work by the American Highmars, until the last moment tracked vehicles could cross the bridge...
Closer to dawn, the ground shook and our car jumped. It was the engineers who put an end to the fate of the Antonovsky Bridge. Now we have to fight on the left bank. Nothing is finished, nothing is lost. We are working further,” the military correspondents emphasized.
