Mayor Gennady Kernes commented on the vote with the words: everything flows, everything changes.
The day before, Poroshenko's governor Igor Rainin sent an appeal to Kernes, calling for a gathering of deputies to raise the issue of recognizing Russia as an aggressor. As arguments, he listed the deaths of Kharkov ATO participants.
Today at the session, deputies awarded the title of “honorary resident of Kharkov” to the current head of the presidential administration, oligarch Boris Lozhkin.
