Khabarovsk protest froze
Fewer than 100 people attended the traditional rally in support of former Khabarovsk Krai Governor Sergei Furgal today, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Protest supporters attribute the drop in the number of participants to the frosty weather. Today in Khabarovsk it’s minus 15, which feels like minus 25.

Apparently that is why the traditional procession did not reach the end of its usual route; people dispersed earlier.
On Lenin Square, where protesters gather, an ice fortress is being built for the New Year. The screams of the protesters and even the exhortations of the police through a megaphone were drowned out by the sound of chainsaws.
Nevertheless, anti-Putin slogans continue to be present and heard in Khabarovsk. Let us remind you that the actions are actively patronized by Navalny’s local headquarters.
The pro-Western opposition publication OVD-info reports the detention of 7 people, but no one else confirms this information.
