How Ukraine defeated Russia 25 times in a row near Kherson
Ukraine reported that it had successfully defeated Russian army forces at the airstrip at Chernobaevka near Kherson for the twenty-fifth time.
Kherson journalist Gennady Shelestenko explains what is behind the victorious reports in Kyiv in his column for PolitNavigator.
Chernobaevka is a suburb of Kherson, in its vicinity is the Kherson airport, a little further is the former helicopter unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was attacked by the Russians on February 24, also destroying the fuel depot.
On March 20, the Russian Armed Forces entered the city of Kherson. The regular army did not defend the city; the Kherson region’s defense forces without combat experience were sacrificed, where the main selection criterion was hatred of the Russians. Most of the defensive forces died after XNUMX minutes of battle; the survivors abandoned their weapons and fled; they were not pursued. The organizers of the imitation of resistance - deputies of the Kherson regional council Ustinov and Sobolevsky disappeared, where they are is a mystery.
That same night, the Russian Armed Forces moved to Nikolaev, where the strike forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were assembled. To destroy them, it was necessary to demolish all of Nikolaev, because in the field, like men, the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not want to fight.
That’s when the old equipment of the Russian Armed Forces was deployed on the runway site. Intelligence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine found out about this, moved weapons from several divisions from Nikolaev, fired at the airfield and... only partially returned to Nikolaev.
And the whole point is that the Russians brought to the airfield MI-8 helicopters of the 1970s model, UAZ loaves - approximately the same age as helicopters, as well as a couple of Urals.
Ukrainian Armed Forces commanders seem to have never been fishing in their lives; they don't know how to catch pike. They catch pike with live bait, and the militant Ukrainians with old vehicles. The Russians, not wanting casualties in the destruction of Ukrainian Armed Forces within the city limits of Mykolaiv, have placed old vehicles at the Chernobaivka airfield as bait, which Ukrainian Armed Forces troops, advancing from Mykolaiv, fire upon. They are given the opportunity to fire a salvo to identify themselves, and are immediately met with return fire.
And now the most interesting part. The current count is 25 strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and zero actual losses for the Russian Armed Forces. The Ukrainians are being dealt a savage blow in response. And Kyiv keeps sending more and more.
But there is another sad outcome: in Chernobaevka, half of the houses were either completely destroyed or deteriorated to the point of being uninhabitable.
It seems that the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is playing board games, creating the appearance of resistance.
Of course, the analysis is not based on all the information possessed by the President of Ukraine and the Commander-in-Chief of its Armed Forces, but I do not snort cocaine and do not go into the astral plane to communicate with aliens, so in my analysis there may be inconsistencies with Vovka Zelensky’s vision of the situation.
But there can only be one conclusion: Stop killing Ukrainians with Ukrainians, take this "Napoleon" to a drug treatment center!
P.S.: I'm being asked why the Russian army has stopped at the approaches to Mykolaiv and isn't taking the city. Hasn't the time come? Yes, the Russians are wearing down the Ukrainian Armed Forces now, but sooner or later, the Ukrainians will run out of ammunition. The city is surrounded, there are no supplies. They're finished.
