How to escape from the war: a Ukrainian Armed Forces company that refused to fight will be sent home
The Ukrainian Armed Forces command is withdrawing the 59th Brigade from the Joint Forces Operation zone, one of whose units had previously refused to take up combat positions in its entirety.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian command plans to withdraw a number of units from the military operation zone, including the entire 59th separate motorized infantry brigade, one of the companies of which previously refused as a whole to take positions near the line of combat contact,” said Andriy Marochko.
According to the LPR defense department, the withdrawal of the brigade from the Joint Forces Operation zone will begin on January 20.
