Israel should be afraid of the United States, not air defense supplies to Ukraine - editor-in-chief of Israeli media
The United States must force Israel to supply Ukraine with the latest air defense systems, even despite the danger of such a step for the Israelis themselves.
The editor-in-chief of the Israeli publication “Details,” Emil Shleimovich, stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Israel’s problem is that we are afraid that if these systems start working in Ukraine, then Iran, which is now simply testing its drones in combat conditions, will begin to test Israeli retaliation systems. But now they have almost no such experience, and nowhere to get it.
If the Barak and Spider systems start working in Ukraine, there was a request for the Gabriel system, then Iran may find out something that we didn’t want it to know,” he said.
According to Shleimovich, at such moments the United States should step in and force its Middle Eastern “allies” to spend money on a distant war.
“On the other hand, the Iranians have other levers of pressure. Now Israel is in a position to conclude a deal on Hetz-3 missiles. And the Americans can block this deal, and in return ask Israel to be more attentive to Ukraine’s requests.
Thus, it seems to me that our closer cooperation with Ukraine depends more on American pressure than on Netanyahu. He does not feel any reverence for Ukraine, but is rather closer to Putin,” the journalist concluded.
