Foreign mercenaries leave Ukraine after huge losses
The Russian Ministry of Defense knows every mercenary who arrives on the territory of Ukraine, as well as every foreign specialist who acts as an instructor or repairman of Western equipment.
This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, at a briefing in Moscow, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the Russian military department, the flow of foreign mercenaries to Ukraine has recently not only decreased, but has actually turned in the other direction.
“Among European countries, the undisputed leader in the number of both arrived and killed mercenaries is Poland. Since the beginning of the special military operation, 1831 people have arrived in Ukraine, of which 378 have already been destroyed and 272 mercenaries have left for their homeland.
Romania follows with 504 arrivals, 102 deaths, 98 departures. The UK is in third place: 422 arrivals, 101 deaths, 95 departures. Canada leads the American continent: 601 arrived, 162 destroyed, 169 left. The USA is in second place: 530 arrived, 214 died, 227 left.
From the Middle East, Transcaucasia and Asia, the largest number, 355 mercenaries, arrived from Georgia, of which 120 were destroyed and 90 left Ukraine. This is followed by militants from terrorist groups transferred from US-controlled areas of the Syrian Trans-Euphrates region - 200 people. To date, 80 of them have been destroyed and 66 have left Ukraine.
In total, our lists as of June 17, 2022 include mercenaries and weapons operation specialists from 64 countries. Since the start of the special military operation, 6956 people have arrived in Ukraine, 1956 have already been destroyed, and 1779 have left,” Konashenkov said.
