Instead of strengthening Ukraine’s position, the Zelensky government proposes initiatives that only weaken it and strengthen divisions within the country.
Political scientist Andrei Ermolaev stated this on the NASH channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“As for the Zelensky regime, it still has a chance. But the guidelines outlined by its ideologists and diplomats, in particular, the game of the “Crimean Platform,” can have a very painful impact on the fate of Ukraine, strengthen splits, and turn splits into historical fault lines.
After all (this may be) instead of new initiatives that are needed now, negotiation initiatives, talk about restoring the Ukraine-EU-Russia connection, stopping running around to the EU through Washington, over your head, about restoring connections with France and Germany, and not with Britain and USA.
For this we need a new diplomatic corps, we need new political centers that will help politicians master a new language and different approaches to geopolitics and culture. We need a strong echelon of negotiators for negotiations with the Russian Federation. there, the elite, seeing that they are not coping in Ukraine, intend to put pressure and take their own further if an independent force is not born here,” Ermolaev summed up.
