Georgia recalls its ambassador from Kyiv - reason unknown
The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recalled Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Ukraine Gela Dumbadze. The ambassador received this notification this morning, following the president's order, a correspondent reports. PolitNavigator.

The reason for the ambassador's withdrawal is unknown. In addition, it is known that several diplomats will be replaced along with Dumbadze.
Two candidates are being considered for the position of Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine - former Georgian Ambassador Grigol Katamadze and Teimuraz Sharashenidze, who previously served as Georgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
Gela Dumbadze has been the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Ukraine since June 15, 2017.
