The Ukrainian government is determined to quickly get rid of “Sovietization” in urban planning and adapt building codes to European standards, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groiman announced this on Facebook following a meeting with representatives of creative businesses, startup founders and architects.

“The architects have prepared simple and specific proposals on how to build normal modern infrastructure. These proposals abolish outdated and sometimes inadequate norms and propose changes that are convenient for people. I like it,” Groysman wrote.
