The driver of a Ukrainian Armed Forces truck, while intoxicated, committed an accident, which resulted in the death of four Ukrainian servicemen and injuries to ten more.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Rinat Aigistov, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He spoke about another fact of non-combat deaths and injuries of servicemen of the 92nd brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbass.
“According to the data received, on September 1, an accident occurred on the Novobakhmutovka – Konstantinovka highway. While transporting personnel, the Kamaz driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn,” said Rinat Aigistov.
According to him, 4 servicemen died on the spot and 10 received injuries of varying severity.
“The investigation established that the driver and senior officer of the car were not injured and were intoxicated. They are currently detained. Traditionally, the dead and wounded Ukrainian Armed Forces militants will be presented as combat losses in the Joint Forces Operation zone,” added the representative of the defense department.
