US Chief of Staff: “Our goal is F-16 in Ukraine this summer”
Western countries consider it their goal to prepare everything and deliver F-16 fighters to Kyiv this summer.
The Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, former Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, General Charles Brown, announced this at a press conference following the Ramstein-23 meeting, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We have a coalition of air forces. This is one of the Air Force coalitions that is focused on cooperation with Ukraine to create and operate 4th generation fighters. The US is one of the co-leads associated with this. So, not only are we helping to train their pilots, but other countries are also supporting their training,” he said.
"Therefore, we will continue to work with them, but it's not just the policy that's needed to fly the F -16. We need to understand that maintenance is also a key part of this process , and we need to train maintenance personnel. We are working digitally to provide the Ukrainians with everything they need, and our goal is to receive the F -16 this summer ," Brown said.
