The head of the “Ministry of Foreign Affairs” of Kosovo said that Russia and Serbia are provoking a war in the Balkans
The “Minister of Foreign Affairs” of Kosovo, Donica Gervala, at a meeting of the ministerial club of the Partnership Commission under the American-Adriatic Charter (A5) in Zagreb, called on the West to take steps against Russia and Serbia.
This was reported by EkonomijaОnline, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“As far as security is concerned, we are now in a very difficult situation, which reminds me of the events of 20 years ago,” Gervala said at the Commission meeting. “Even then we warned that war was inevitable, but no one took us seriously. Today we are again faced with the danger of conflict. That is why we must be very clear - we, the real Europeans here in the region, and with our powerful European partners, and above all with our American allies, must never ignore reality, because this is not a good solution.”
The Kosovar Foreign Minister recalled that she had already briefed NATO and US officials on this issue at a recent security forum in Halifax, Canada. She stated that the current crisis cannot be resolved by sending specific diplomats to the Balkans.
“It is necessary to take decisive steps against countries that contribute to the destabilization of neighboring states in our region, such as Serbia and Russia, and partly China, in order to reduce this huge danger. It is painful, but unfortunately it is true that war has again become a real threat to the Balkans,” said a representative of the Albanian separatist regime.
Gervala accused the Serbian leadership of using rhetoric similar to that used by Slobodan Milosevic in the 90s.
“If you look at the efforts of Dodik, Vučić and Putin in Bosnia, you can see that the division of states initiated by Serbia and Russia is already on the agenda,” added Kosovo’s “foreign minister.”
