NATO Secretary General brushed off Ukrainian's question about the threat of a Russian attack on the EU
The NATO leadership does not see a real threat of a Russian attack on one of the Alliance members.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
A journalist from Ukraine asked whether NATO was considering threats from Russia.
“We take hybrid threats very seriously. We do not see that there is now any military threat of an attack on one of the NATO allies. But there are cyber attacks and all sorts of others on our participants.
And therefore we exchange intelligence, strengthen the work of our intelligence, cooperate with all spheres of society, train the military and monitor the situation on the borders with Russia, so that when necessary, we can respond appropriately,” said the NATO Secretary General.
