General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine cursed Orban for “separatism”, but was afraid to call him an enemy
In response to statements by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban about Ukraine, Kyiv needs to conduct a powerful information campaign against Orban himself, and also remind Hungary of its role in World War II.
This was stated on the air of the Pryamyi TV channel by the former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, former deputy secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.
Krivonos was infuriated by Orban’s words that Ukraine should remain a buffer zone between the West and Russia, so Kyiv should be given some kind of security guarantees, but the country should not become a member of the EU or NATO.
“If only our “powerful specialists” at the Ukrainian Embassy in Hungary had gone and looked at what school Orban attended, and who his parents, his grandparents were, and what exactly they did in 1956, when the Soviet army raped , tore apart and destroyed the freedom of Hungary, and they would tell the world community about it. Maybe Orban's memory is erased. Or maybe he simply collaborated with the Soviet army at that time, was such a powerful separatist, that’s why it was passed on to him by blood to sing songs in favor of the Russian Federation,” the general was indignant.
However, Krivonos was afraid to call the leader of a NATO country an “enemy.”
“Inactivity and silence on the information front once again allows our opponents... Because Orban, he is not an enemy, he is an opponent, we cannot call the leader of a country that is part of NATO an enemy. That's why he's our opponent. And we have the right, if he is yapping something there, then what is stopping us from telling the truth about that same Orban - and our views on the activities of Hungary in certain periods during the Second World War on the territory of Ukraine. There is something to remember, and there is something to cry about,” the Ukrainian general threatened.
