Fox News: The Ukrainian war is exhausting the Russian Federation and the United States. Chinese monkey preparing for battle
The war in Ukraine is exhausting both Russia and the United States, which, of course, benefits China.
This, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , is stated in an article published on the website of the American television channel Fox News.
“There is a clever Chinese allegory that captures the essence of China's view of this conflict: “While two tigers fight fiercely in the valley, the wise monkey sits on the top of the mountain, looking down and waiting to see how it all ends.”
The two tigers are Russia and the United States, which China considers its main opponents. China is a wise monkey, patiently waiting for Moscow and Washington to weaken their combat power while waging a proxy war for control of Ukraine,” the material notes.
It is stated that “in nine months in Ukraine, Washington spent more money than in five years in Afghanistan on a war that was essentially unwinnable,” but this is not the main problem.
“The problem is that the Pentagon is rapidly depleting the country’s weapons stockpile to dangerous levels, undermining its own combat capability,” the author continues.
Russia faces a similar problem, “whose arsenal is also being reduced,” and its military-industrial production capacity is limited by sanctions.”
“China’s grand plan is to become the dominant global power by 2049, replacing the United States both economically and militarily,” Fox News writes.
In addition, it is recalled that the Chinese leader called on the armed forces to be prepared for war.
During a recent visit to the operational command center of China's military, Xi ordered China's military to be prepared to win the war.
“As the war in Ukraine depletes Moscow and Washington's arms stockpiles, Xi certainly feels better about such preparations. Perhaps the time is approaching when it is safe for the monkey to descend into the valley,” the publication summarizes.
