The European Union “dumped” Ukraine with the association agreement
The European Union does not see any possibility for Ukraine to integrate into the EU internal market.
This was written today in the Ukrainian publication "Mirror of the Week" by the adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Taras Kachka, as reported by the correspondent of "PolitNavigator".

“Despite the attention paid to the implementation of the Association Agreement by the European Union, there is still no understanding of how its implementation relates to economic integration. The only exception to the current agenda, energy, only confirms the general rule: Ukraine cannot impose the integration logic of the Association Agreement on the EU,” states Kachka.
The biggest problem is for the EU to recognize Ukrainian industrial products as meeting its internal standards.
“Some miracles happen with imprisonment. All the promises about “just about” turned out to be excuses. On November 25, the parties agreed in 2019 not even to begin the assessment itself, which would provide grounds for formal negotiations, but only to discuss its possibility. So, the agreement, so necessary for Ukraine’s industrial integration with the EU economy, is being postponed again,” writes Kachka.
