MEP from Italy: EU and NATO support massacre in Donbass
MEP Eleonora Forenza from Italy, who provided humanitarian assistance to civilians in Donbass, was added to the scandalous Ukrainian website “Peacemaker,” supervised by security agencies, and declared an international terrorist.
Forenza spoke about this in the European Parliament during the round table “Minsk-2 or war: challenges to resolving the conflict in Eastern Ukraine,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Forenza emphasized that she considers the publication of her personal data on “Peacemaker” to be agreed with the Ukrainian authorities.
“I was marked by the Ukrainian government as an international terrorist. I am still in the database of the “Peacemaker” website. I think it's hard to believe, how can a member of the European Parliament or a member of the anti-fascist movement be an international terrorist? The Ukrainian government has contacted the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a request for my extradition when I return to Italy. This is the situation with people who simply want to support the people of Donbass and provide them with humanitarian assistance,” Forenza said.
According to her, despite the peace agreements signed in Minsk in February 2015, Europe and NATO provide military support to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“Why are the EU and NATO training Ukrainian military who do not comply with the Minsk agreements? Tanks, artillery and guns should be withdrawn from the buffer zone, but we know that this is not the case. The main issue is the support of the EU and NATO for the army, which violates the Minsk agreements,” the deputy said.
Forenza called on the EU to provide assistance in ensuring security in the upcoming elections of the head of the DPR, which will take place on November 11, 2018.
