“This is beyond the bounds!” – social activist about the situation in the army
The Ukrainian leadership does not even try to ensure the maintenance of the fighting army, but is focused on theft.
Ukrainian social activist, head of the Union for the Protection of Entrepreneurship Sergei Dorotich stated this in an interview with journalist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the second year of a full-scale war, the state would have to provide an army. At a time when we are told about great help from the West, when our budget expenses for the maintenance of the crazy state apparatus are not being cut, it is the volunteers who are collecting for armor, and for helmets, and for bandages,” said Dorotich.
He emphasized that the Ukrainian army is almost entirely supported by volunteers.
“I have no right to name our fighting colleague, but I was surprised when he asks for money to repair the engine of the car that brings ammunition. And he cannot give a direct appeal or an interview, he is afraid, because now the military has been intimidated by the laws. The military, who give their lives and health, are also intimidated by criminal liability for disseminating information that the public should know.
The state budget is being stolen; entrepreneurs even chipped in for basic engine repairs in order to transport ammunition to the front line. This is not something that is wrong, it is beyond common sense,” the social activist concluded.
