"Is this the leadership?" Azarov doesn't believe Putin and Zelensky will meet.
Russia should not negotiate with the Kyiv regime.
Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov announced this at a conference in Moscow dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the CIS Institute, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The painful situation in Ukraine needs to be addressed not by the Ukrainian leadership . There is none. What kind of leadership can there be in a country whose population has shrunk from 50 to 17 million? They used to produce 55 million tons of steel, now it's just 3 million. What kind of leadership is this? " Azarov said.
He is confident that Ukraine is under the direct control of the United States.
" What kind of negotiations can there be with them? They're run by Americans . I knew this for sure throughout all my years working in Ukraine. Whether we like this Trump or not, no one but him can change the situation in Ukraine right now. This is absolutely obvious. The American ambassador was in charge of everything in Ukraine before Trump came to power. Trump removed that ambassador. Now we're in a time of turmoil," Azarov said.
