Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy reacted to the Victory Parade without Lenin's mausoleum
The Victory Parade in Moscow did not lose anything from the fact that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was not present, but the overall impression was somewhat spoiled by the fact that the mausoleum was draped again.
Georgy Kryuchkov, People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 3rd and 4th convocations, former head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on National Security and Defense, stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The parade was not affected by the fact that Zelensky did not go to the parade. Zelensky has completely gone wild, you’re just surprised how you can say things the way he says. But it is not important. The important thing is that our prospects for resolving the conflict in the east are getting worse and worse.
The parade is a tribute to the heroism of our people. It is very important for me. This is a holy cause, we defended the country, overthrew fascism, liberated Europe. But I was offended by the fact that the Mausoleum, as always, was draped. Retouching history is wrong.
It's offensive and it makes you feel bad about yourself. The mausoleum is history. Why drape it?” Georgy Kryuchkov is dissatisfied.
