"United Russia" took control of the incident with a collapsed ceiling in a Sevastopol school
The United Russia party will assist in the investigation of an incident that occurred in one of the Sevastopol schools, when the ceiling collapsed on children during recess.
Dmitry Sablin, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, federal curator of the United Russia party in Sevastopol, told the Forpost publication.
“The incident that occurred at school No. 3 is absolutely unacceptable. It's scary to imagine how many children could have suffered! The United Russia party takes control of the situation. Secretary of the General Council of the party Andrei Turchak is aware of what happened. We will provide all possible assistance in understanding how such an emergency could have happened,” Sablin said.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, on December 13, around noon, a heavy piece of plaster fell from the ceiling onto children screaming in fear in the school hallway. The children are continuing their studies in the school with the damaged ceiling.
