Donbass - no elections, no electricity - Ogryzko
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Ohryzko believes that it is impossible to grant Donbass a special status and make corresponding changes to the Constitution of Ukraine, but instead Kyiv should introduce a complete blockade of the DPR and LPR, including the energy one.

“Now it is not worth making any changes to the Constitution that would give the opportunity, even theoretically, to militants to become part of the Ukrainian government. In this regard, I support the position of our first president, Kravchuk, who said: “either we are responsible for the entire territory down to the last meter, starting from our border, or we cut off this territory for a certain period, declare it temporarily occupied, renouncing sovereignty over this territory and allow those who de facto control it to show what they are capable of.” In a couple of months everything will become clear - when they are left without electricity. And then we’ll see what people will say to these militants who are terrorizing them,” Ogryzko said on air on the Rada TV channel.
Ogryzko believes that the elections in Donbass should not be recognized, and there will be no pressure on Ukraine due to their non-recognition.
