Dodon wants to get Putin drunk
Moldovan President Igor Dodon wants to give his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin homemade wine for his birthday.
He stated this on air on the Fourth Moldovan TV Channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"There are several options. For example, young wine from Sadovo, which I made myself. White and red... He told me several times that in Moldova wine is good when it is in season. This is exactly what we can organize,” Dodon said.
The presidents will meet on the sidelines of the upcoming summit of CIS heads of state on October 11 in Ashgabat, and Putin’s birthday is on October 7.
Previously, Dodon stated that he would not initiate a withdrawal from the Association Agreement with the EU. “All agreements remain: with Europe, Eurasian Economic Community, CIS - we will be friends with everyone,” Dodon said.
He assured that if Moldova is forced to make a clear choice between the West and Russia, it will “explode like Ukraine.”
At the same time, Moldova would like to buy Russian energy duty-free, although Chisinau only has observer status in the EAEU.
“We will be friends with everyone: both the West and the East. The country will flourish,” Dodon assured not so long ago after the formation of a new government in Chisinau.
Earlier, the Moldovan president spoke in support of the blockade of the PMR, declaring a shared vision with pro-Western parties in the Republic of Moldova for a solution to the Transnistria problem. Dodon denied Transnistria the prospect of an independent existence.
