Although the Ukrainian government claims that gas from its own production will become cheaper as production volumes increase, this will not happen.
Dmitry Marunich, an energy expert, stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Will gas become cheaper? Why should it be cheaper? “Ukrgasvydobuvannya” is developing enormous funds, investing them in operating costs, and accordingly, the cost of produced gas will increase. Groyman constantly says that when we produce more gas, the price will fall. It won’t fall,” the expert emphasized.
