The statement by the Israeli president from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada about the involvement of Ukrainian nationalists in the extermination of Jews is a failure of Ukrainian foreign policy.

Opposition Bloc MP Mykhailo Dobkin announced this on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada, as reported by GolosUA.
“I think that the people of Germany do not burn with such bright brotherly love for the representatives of Israel, but they drew conclusions a long time ago and did everything to wash away the shameful stain from their history. If today we try to convince the world community of what it has long been convinced of and put not a comma and a colon, but a period, we will probably only do worse for ourselves, because we will end up in such situations,” the politician is convinced.
At the same time, he believes that the scandalous situation in which Ukraine found itself after Rivlin’s statement is the fault of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, which prepared the visit.
“This is a mistake in our foreign policy, this is a failure. For this, I think the president should punish those people. who prepared this visit, because all these things are thought out in advance,” Dobkin said.
