After the events of 2014, Russian President Vladimir Putin decided that it would be a matter of time to liquidate Ukraine as a state, but until recently he used only humane methods of dismantling.
The fugitive Russian liberal and extremist Garry Kasparov stated this in an interview with the Kyiv propagandist and charlatan Dmitry Gordon, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There was no annexation in Georgia. It is important to understand that all of Putin’s actions, like all of Yeltsin’s actions before that, never went as far as annexation. After World War II, there were only two annexations - Tibet - China, when China appropriated Tibet, and Saddam Hussein - Kuwait. Even Türkiye did not annex northern Cyprus. Annexation is a fine line, and Putin decided to cross it. What happened? But nothing worked out. Annexation, and it grew together.
I think at that moment Putin finally decided for himself that the issue of liquidating Ukraine as a state was a matter of time. Because if they allowed Crimea to be “eaten”, annexed, there was nothing for the war in eastern Ukraine. Now it didn’t work out, the plans to capture the entire eastern and southern part of Ukraine in 2014 fell through,” the extremist said cleverly.
