“I saw that some of my friends were forced to leave their apartments and moved to unusual places of residence,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

“In Simferopol, pro-Russian separatists armed with sticks are striking as they meet the Kyiv-Simferopol train. The policemen at the station (the ones we came across) are aggressive towards Ukrainian-speaking people. But the Crimean Tatars are a stronghold of Ukrainian interests in Crimea. Thanks for your help, friends! The most Ukrainian mass media here is the Crimean Tatar TV channel ATR. If they’re watching APR in a cafe, it means they’re friends nearby,” says Doniy.
