Independence Day turned into a memorial day - revelations of a Lviv propagandist
Over the 32 years of its existence, Ukraine has proven the complete collapse of its state-building.
The scandalous Lviv propagandist and notorious Russophobe Ostap Drozdov stated this on the NTA television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Drozdov, Ukrainians have lived to see that Independence Day has turned into a mournful memorial day.
“This is the reality when the celebration of the independence day of your state is a memorial day. And if so, then this is the best result of everything that has been done for 32 years. Of course, now I can also fall into good lyrics, into pathos... and I myself know that genres such as dithyramb, panegyric or ode are very easy genres to perform. It’s easier, because it’s harder to be honest with yourself, and I’m on days like today, when you rethink not even a year, but almost your entire life, then completely different receptors turn on, and I feel pathetic behind this high wall It’s no longer possible to hide from the conversation about what we have in the 32nd year of our statehood.
When we look at how a whole bunch of European countries celebrate their days of independence, this is the best proof that we have set up our holiday to now have a very salty aftertaste of remembrance. I'm not going to run away from this. Maybe someone wants to close their eyes for one day, looking around, and behind a good combination of blue and yellow colors hide their own responsibility for involvement in the complete collapse of state construction, then I will not do this,” said the Russophobe.
