To the question “Which of these candidates will you vote for in the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine?” respondents answered as follows: among those who intend to vote in the second round, 61% are for Zelensky, 24% are for Poroshenko. Another 15% are undecided. Among those who intend to vote in the second round and have already made their choice: 71% are for Zelensky, 29% are for Poroshenko.

Zelensky is ahead of his competitor in all age categories. He is also a leader among residents of the East, South and Center. At the same time, in the West, the positions of both candidates are almost equal.

61% of respondents believe that Zelensky will become the next president of Ukraine, 17% - Poroshenko. Another 22% were undecided on the answer. Among the electoral groups of candidates who scored significant results in the first round, the relative majority is convinced that Zelensky will become the future head of state. Among Poroshenko’s supporters, half are convinced that their favorite will win, while a quarter believe that Zelensky will win.

Audience: Ukrainian population aged 18 years and older. The sample is representative by age, gender, region and type of settlement. Sample population: 3000 respondents. Personal formalized interview (face-to-face). Error in the representativeness of the study: no more than 1,8%. Duration of the study: April 5-10, 2019.

The former deputy head of the administration of Viktor Yanukovych, commenting on the results of the survey, said that prison for Petro Poroshenko is becoming a real outcome.

“The sociological gap is more than double. Demobilization and prison,” he wrote on his Telegram channel. Also, according to Portnov, the journalists of the 1+1 channel “it’s time to get accreditation in advance for the right to broadcast live from the cage” in the courtroom.

“The kleptomaniac loses dryly to the “drug addict.” Poroshenko’s headquarters is urgently looking for new horror stories. Pedophilia in America, famine in Africa, alcoholism of a second cousin, and, of course, terrorism and war. For example, at the stadium on the 14th... In the meantime, Putin is being urgently plastered on billboards,” Yuri Kasyanov, a well-known Ukrainian Armed Forces volunteer and ex-presidential candidate, comments on the survey results.

Let us remind you that in the first round of elections held on March 31, Vladimir Zelensky is in the lead (over 30% of the votes). Petro Poroshenko is two times behind him with a result of less than 16%.
