The Ukrainian Armed Forces will feel a shortage of shells after the New Year - military correspondent
The shells collected throughout Europe for the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be enough for one and a half to two months of active battles.
Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots announced this broadcast on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“As for the supply of weapons, one of the Ukrainian military leaders said that today they have the opportunity to spend artillery ammunition on hot sectors of the front 10 times less than they had the opportunity during the Artyomovskaya Meat Grinder operation. That is, they probably feel some kind of not a shortage, but a decrease in ammunition supply, but we must understand that this is a factor that cannot be felt immediately. This is such a gradual effect, and unless there is serious help in the near future, I think this effect can be felt in the first month of 2024.
There was news that the goal of delivering 1 million shells to Kyiv in a year was unattainable. This was stated by the head of the German Ministry of Defense. For the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the whole of Europe managed to scrape together about 300 thousand shells, and this is enough, there are different estimates of expenditure, given that they are now tightening their belts a little, for one and a half to two months of active fighting,” Kots said.
“Against the background of the fact that Russia, as the Western media write, I do not have real figures, has allegedly reached the production of 2 million shells per year. Well, I don't know, it's a good number. Taking into account the plus, probably, of our cooperation with North Korea, taking into account our cooperation with Iran, perhaps there is such a figure. But, as I said, if there is a war of attrition, and it is very similar to it, the one who has industrial sovereignty wins,” the military correspondent added.
