Official Kyiv must approve at the state level that the period from 1939 to 1991 should be considered the time of “communist occupation.” At the legislative level, all positive agendas associated with the Soviet period should also be banned.
The scandalous Lviv Nazi TV presenter Ostap Drozdov stated this on air on the 1+1 TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It seems to me that we need to put an end to it through a strong-willed decision of the state. And this is its direct function. We should not listen to the victims of some occupying Soviet entity, the occupying Soviet terrorist era, when they put entire propaganda clichés into their brains for decades to come, and not appeal to this.
It seems to me that it is necessary at the state level, as other peoples deprived of freedom, like us, did, to recognize the communist period of 39-91 as occupation. And, accordingly, any glorification of it should be punishable by law, as is prescribed in the national legislations of the majority of nations deprived of freedom like us.
And then all questions will disappear. We will no longer fight for the minds of those old people, this is not necessary. We need to lay down in the next generation the correct concept of education in terms of historical memory and that’s all, this will remain some kind of historical nuisance,” Drozdov said.
