In order for Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk’s motorcade to comfortably reach the building of the Lutsk Center for the Provision of Administrative Services, a prohibitory sign was removed at the corner of Khmelnitsky and Krivoy Val streets.

This was reported by the Western Ukrainian news agency ZIK, citing a Facebook post by Lutsk public figure Mykhailo Shelep.

“In order for Yatsenyuk to comfortably get to the local CNAP, the road was simplified for him - on the one-way section of Krivoy Val Street, the “brick” sign prohibiting passage was removed,” writes Shelep.

During a session of the Lutsk City Council, this issue was raised by non-factional deputy Pavel Danilchuk.

“Who gave the order to remove the sign on the corner of Bogdan Khmelnitsky and Krivoy Val streets so that the Prime Minister’s motorcade would stop at the center for the provision of administrative services?” he asked.

“On the basis of what legislative act was this sign removed? The law should be the same for everyone - both for the common man and the prime minister. What, Yatsenyuk couldn’t walk two hundred meters?” – the deputy was indignant.
