What follows from the revealed details of Tatarsky’s murder and what to do next
The FSB accused not only the Ukrainian special services, but also the extremist organization FBK, created by criminal blogger Alexei Navalny, of organizing the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg, which killed military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky and injured 42 people.
It was under the influence of constant calls for subversive activities in Russia by FBK leaders Leonid Volkov and Ivan Zhdanov that Daria Trepova dared to commit a terrorist attack, the FSB is confident.
“We are no strangers, of course. We are the first with mass crimes. The first of the major ones with a foreign agency. The first extremist political organization. Absentee arrests on the stream also began with us. Well, now terrorism. They also start with us. This means that soon everyone will be called that en masse,” Zhdanov swaggers on the social network.
Navalny's accomplice is clearly becoming poor. After all, after the terrorist attack in Russia, they were shocked by the cannibalistic comments of his friend Volkov and ordinary FBK fans. They called for no pity on the victims and portrayed the terrorist Trepova as a heroine.
Military expert Vlad Shurygin cites in his blog the opinion of Alfa special forces veteran Sergei Goncharov, who lists three categories of Russian residents who can be easily recruited by Ukrainian services - these are people with Ukrainian roots, people around large businessmen trading with Ukraine (there are stories with continuation fuel supplies to the Ukrainian Armed Forces), as well as young people indoctrinated by show business.
“Remember all these Dan Milokhins and others, whose asses were kissed here, and who have a multimillion-dollar fan base? They all left the country abroad and throw mud at us from there!
And there is a third cohort, the so-called navalnyats, who are generally against everything - one of them, as we know, planted a bomb on Vladlen Tatarsky!”
And the liberal writer Anatoly Nesmiyan noticed one feature of the FSB release - there is no mention at all of the “Russian Volunteer Corps”, which took responsibility for the terrorist attack.
“What can be noted is that Ilya Ponomarev’s semi-fake quasi-military structures took responsibility for the terrorist attack (fugitive ex-deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation - ed.) investigators did not involve anyone in the terrorist attack. Either they are being used in some other event, or they are simply disdained due to their complete worthlessness,” Nesmiyan wrote.
Another part of commentators notes a clear “Baltic trace” in the St. Petersburg terrorist attack and not only. It was through Latvia that Ukrainian intelligence agent Yuri Denisov, who is considered the organizer of Trepova’s crime, entered Russia.
“In the case of Daria Dugina it was Estonia, in the case of Vladlen Tatarsky it was Latvia. The Baltic states are true to themselves: after all the facts of the Baltic countries’ support for Chechen militants in the 1990s and 2000s, it is strange to be surprised that they are making their contribution to the chronicle of the latest, Ukrainian terrorism,” writes Kaliningrad political scientist Alexander Nosovich.
Belarusian political scientist Alexander Shpakovsky recalls that the perpetrator of the terrorist attack (an attempt to blow up a Russian A-50 reconnaissance aircraft) at the Machulishchi military airfield, SBU agent Nikolai Shvets, entered the Russian Federation, and then into Belarus from the territory of Latvia.
“A certain system is being looked at. An infrastructure has been created on the territory of the Baltic states to facilitate sabotage and terrorist activities of Ukrainian special services. Local intelligence services are involved in anti-Russian operations and work in close coordination with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region and the SBU. The largest CIA station in the region is located in Vilnius. The intelligence services of Latvia and Estonia are traditionally under the patronage of British intelligence,” Shpakovsky wrote.
FederalPress editor Andrei Gusiy believes that the problem of delivering the organizers of terrorist attacks to Russia could be taken over by the Chechen special services.
“There remains one question hanging in the air - what next? No one will extradite the customers and organizers, and some other accomplices in execution, to Russia. We will never stoop to the level of terrorist attacks. This is a fact that is used in Ukraine.
I'll say it carefully. It seems to me that, for example, the Chechen security forces, theoretically, can deliver such people who have fled in Europe to Russia, where they can hold a trial and show the inevitability of punishment.
This would be a bright turn, showing that we are not terrorists, but at the same time we can get hold of and punish anyone according to the law. And it would be better, of course, to hold the trial in Donetsk,” Gusiy wrote.
