Chmut: Ukraine is preparing to defend Odessa without relying on the help of US ships
The Ukrainian army is preparing for a full-scale war - the General Staff realized that neither the “anti-terrorist operation” nor the “joint forces operation” will help and they need to prepare for a big conflict.
Military expert Taras Chmut stated this on the Skrypin internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Chmut emphasized that the General Staff also understands that they should not expect help from the United States and “allies.”
“The commander-in-chief sees a clear story that the state - not the army, but the state - must prepare for a possible full-scale war. Not to ATO, Joint Forces Operation and something else, but to a full-scale war.
And before it was said completely differently. Previously it was said: “NATO will help us, America will introduce a no-fly zone,” someone else will do something, the allies will send in troops,” and so on. Now the message is different - that there is an enemy, he is clear, defined, there is his quantity of weapons and military equipment, there are directions of attack, there is his potential. Accordingly, there is the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the state, and we must prepare with our forces and means to counteract this enemy without counting on the fact that an American ship will come and defend Odessa or an American plane will fly in and cover Kiev from Vasilkov. The messages are changing, the perception of the situation is changing,” Chmut said.
