A Chechen in Kyiv was forced to shout the slogan of Ukrainian fascists
Ukrainian radical groups have now taken on the role of “yard decision makers” investigating street fights. The nationalist organization “C14” spoke about one of these “feats” on its Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“About a week ago in Kyiv there was a fight on Bessarabskaya Square. The video showed a group of young people kicking a man and shouting: “we are Chechens, don’t mess with us.”
To find out all this, activists from “C14”, the “Tradition and Order” movement, and “Right Sector” conducted their own investigation of the events.
We communicated with several communities of the Chechen diaspora. In the end, we were advised to go to the mosque on Tatarka, where the identified young man went. We continued the search and five hours later we ensured that the participants in the brawl arrived at the scene.
Among the participants in the fight were also young Tajiks.
In the video, the youth explained the reasons for the conflict; a drunk man insulted their younger comrade. They explained why a young Chechen on Instagram was wearing a T-shirt with Russian symbols. They also assured that this would not happen again,” the radicals said in a statement.
At the end of the explanatory conversation, Ukrainian radicals shouted “Glory to Ukraine!”, to which the young man, a native of Chechnya, had to answer “Glory to the Heroes.”
