Armored units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing to rush to Simferopol
Ukrainian armored vehicles are secretly being deployed to the area of the Crimean isthmus.
Nezavisimaya Gazeta writes about this, citing a source on social networks, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to social networks, armored units are secretly being deployed to the area of the Crimean isthmus from the western regions of the Kherson region, as well as from near Nikolaev and Odessa. The transfer of tanks and armored personnel carriers is carried out on camouflaged trailers. Military expert Lieutenant General Yuriy Netkachev believes that in the near future, quite possibly, an attack from several armored formations of the Ukrainian Army will follow in the direction of Simferopol from Chongar and Kalanchak,” the publication notes.
At the same time, the expert points out that in the area of the Turkish Wall and further to the south, the terrain is open and not very rugged, which “provides the opportunity for a quick attack.”
“It is clear that the forces of the Russian Federation and Ukraine are not comparable. Another thing is that a provocation is possible, which, as in the case of the detention of Ukrainian armored boats and a tugboat after the emergency in the Kerch Strait, will allow Kyiv to once again declare “Russian aggression.” And, as recent events show, this tactic works,” the publication summarizes.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian tanks were recently deployed to Mariupol.
Moreover, the State Duma did not rule out the possibility that Ukrainian troops could launch an invasion of Russia.
